For Advertisers What is The Servicestat? Servicestat is a FREE directory for businesses and people who offer services direct to or in the customers home. For example tradie or the local babysitter. Who can advertise in the directory? This directory is for people and businesses offering services to the customers' door. Please do not try to advertise retail outlets and other businesses. These ads will be rejected. How do I place an ad? You must register and login to place an ad. Once you are registered and logged in. - Please take the time to select the category and region carefully. You can chose up to five categories which include locations. -Please be as specific as you can and leave plenty of details including your post code. This will enable users to search and find you quickly. There is no suitable category - what should I do? If we have left out a category or location please let us know and we will get right on it. What Information can I put in the Ad? You can leave the following information: - Name (required) - Description of the service you offer (required) - HTML available - Street address - City, State & Postcode (required) - Email address - Website address - Contact person - Phone, mobile and fax numbers - Cost of your service. Most will be through negotiation but babysitters and the like may want to put in a per hour fee. - Logo and icon images. Logos are resized to 300x300 and icons to 80 x 80. - Meta description and keywords - these help search engine find you ad on our site. - Categories - up to five. How many categories can I chose? You can chose up to 5 categories. These may be either different services or difference location or a combination. What are all locations not listed? Only the major population bases are listed. Surely in the country towns everyone knows everyone. Happy to bow to popular opinion to change though. How much does it cost? Ads are currently free. But a link back is good too . Do the ads expire? Yes. Ads expire after one year and will need to renew them. We will send you an email reminder.
